Sazmeen - Mirror Strap Bag

This Afghan Zari Kohinoor Banjara bag is where bold beadwork meets zari work. The front is crowned with a large, hand-beaded Afghani patch bursting with colour and detail, while the base is crafted from vintage Afghan galas (yokes) and pattas (borders) that once adorned the bridal dresses of Pashtun tribal women.

To complete the story, it’s paired with a Lambani mirror strap from the Banjara tribals of India — a union of two craft traditions across borders. Made entirely from antique vintage raw material, each bag carries signs of its journey: loose threads, missing mirrors, or faint blemishes — proof of the life these fabrics have lived before being reborn as a one-of-a-kind statement piece.

• Use a lint roller to gently remove dust from fabrics, leather handles, fringes, and straps.

• Domestic orders are eligible for both returns/exchanges, but the customer bears the shipping cost of sending the item back to us.
  
• International Orders are eligible for returns provided the customer bears the shipping cost of sending the item back to us. After thorough inspection, a refund will be issued in the form of store credit only.
  
• International orders are not eligible for exchanges.
  
• Orders where modifications have been made and sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.
  
• The item(s) must be unused, with all tags and original packaging intact.
  
• As our bags are all one-of-a-kind, exact replacements will not be possible. In such cases, we’ll offer you store credit or help you choose a similar style.
  
• Refunds or Exchange (if approved) will be issued once we receive and inspect the returned item in the form of store credit. 
  
• The store credit is valid for 365 days.
  
• Each order is eligible for a return only once. Orders placed using a Store Credit are not eligible for any returns.
