All our bags are made and shipped from our workshop in India within 24 hours of placing your order. Once dispatched, orders usually take 5–7 working days to reach most metro cities, and 7–10 working days for other locations. Rural or remote areas may take a little longer depending on courier coverage.

Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking link via email and SMS directly from our courier partner. You can use this link to check the live status of your package anytime until it reaches you.

If for some reason you don’t receive the tracking link, just share your Order ID with us on WhatsApp or email, and we’ll send you the details right away.

We offer free standard shipping across India on all prepaid orders

Yes! We can arrange express delivery (2–4 working days) to most major cities in India at an additional cost. If you need your order urgently, just drop us a message before placing the order, and we’ll confirm availability and charges for your pin code.

We do not cover lost or stolen packages once they are marked as delivered, so please ensure your address and contact details are accurate. If your order arrives damaged, please refer to our Returns & Exchange Policy page to see what qualifies and how to request a replacement.

Shipping rates vary depending on your country and the weight of your order. The final shipping cost will be calculated at checkout before you make payment.

Delivery timelines usually range from 7–15 working days, depending on your location and local customs clearance.

Some countries may charge customs fees, taxes, or import duties when your package arrives. These charges are determined by your country’s customs department and must be paid by the customer. Any delays or clearance fees related to customs are also the customer’s responsibility.

Currently, we do not accept returns or exchanges for international orders, unless the item received is damaged or defective. If that happens, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery, and we’ll help resolve it. Any return charges will be borne by the customer.

We accept all major payment methods, including UPI (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm), debit/credit cards, net banking, and popular wallets. For international customers, payments can be made via credit/debit cards and PayPal (where available).

We currently do not offer Cash on Delivery. Every Noumadi bag is handmade and one-of-a-kind, so we work on a prepaid model to ensure smooth and reliable order processing.

Orders can only be cancelled within 24 hours of placing them, provided they haven’t been shipped yet. Once an order is dispatched, cancellations are not possible. Please contact us on whatsapp or email at the earliest.

Our bags are crafted as one-of-a-kind pieces. Once a design is sold out, it will not return. This individuality is the essence of Noumadi. However, you can always reach out to us and we’ll happily guide you to similar styles you might love.

We don’t offer gift wrapping directly on the website. However, if you’d like your order to be gift-wrapped or include a handwritten note, please reach out to us on WhatsApp immediately after placing your order — and we’ll do our best to make it special for you.

An Authentic Banjara bag is crafted from fabrics and embellishments sourced from Banjara communities — the nomadic tribal groups of South Asia. These raw materials are rare, valuable, and often difficult to source. Simply adding cowrie shells or fringes to a colorful bag does not make it authentic — it must carry textiles or embellishments that truly come from these communities.

Our mirror straps and patches come from the Lambani Banjaras of Karnataka and Maharashtra, while fabrics and beaded patches are sourced from the Pashtun community of Afghanistan, the Fakirani Jats of Kutch, and the Balochi community. This ensures that every bag we create is genuinely Banjara

Most “boho” bags you see in the market are mass-produced using new machine-made fabrics that only imitate tribal embroidery. They often have no connection to the communities whose art they claim to represent.

An authentic Banjara bag, like the ones at Noumadi, is made using genuine textiles and embellishments sourced directly from South Asian nomadic and tribal communities. These fabrics once carried real journeys — mirrors, coins, and hand-embroidered details that belonged to women of the tribes. Each piece is handcrafted, one-of-a-kind, and carries cultural memory, not just a fashion trend.

Noumadi bags are newly handcrafted, but they are made using authentic vintage textiles and embellishments sourced from South Asian tribal communities.

That means every mirror, coin, and hand-embroidered panel in your bag once belonged to a tribal garment — carrying the marks of journeys, traditions, and stories of the women who wore them. We carefully restore and reimagine these fragments into contemporary, functional bags designed for today.

So while the materials are vintage and carry history, the bag itself is new, sturdy, and ready to live a fresh chapter with you.

The textiles and embellishments that go into a Noumadi bag — mirrors, embroidery fragments, coins, and tribal fabrics — are predominantly handmade by the communities they come from. These carry the true artistry, memory, and imperfections of handwork.

The bag itself, however, is not fully handmade. To ensure durability and structure, the base of each bag is stitched on a sewing machine. Once the structure is ready, we add the handmade textiles and finish it with hand-placed embellishments and detailing.

So while a Noumadi bag is not 100% handcrafted, it is built from authentic, handmade tribal textiles and then carefully reimagined into a bag you can carry today.

Mirrors may be slightly tarnished or missing, coins may show age, and embroidery may not look machine-perfect — because it isn’t.

These are not defects, but the marks of authenticity. Each piece was once part of the clothing and ornaments of nomadic women from South Asia, and with that comes character that no factory-made “boho” bag can ever replicate.

• Keep it dry: Avoid rain or damp spaces, as old fabrics and mirrors can weaken with moisture.
  
• Spot clean only: Gently wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Never machine wash or dry clean.
  
• Mind the details: Mirrors, coins, and embroidery are hand-attached. If a thread loosens, simply secure it back with a needle and thread — part of the beauty of handmade work.
  
• Retain the shape: When not in use, lightly stuff the bag with soft fabric or paper and keep it in a cotton pouch or plastic so it stays dust-free and keeps its form.
  

• Each Noumadi bag is handmade from vintage textiles, making every piece one-of-a-kind.
  

 Because of this, we do not accept returns or exchanges for reasons of change of mind, preference, colour differences from website images or minor imperfections (such as loose threads, missing mirrors, uneven embroidery or small marks picked up from the desert journeys of these textiles). These are not flaws but part of the fabric’s story. Every authentic Banjara bag carries these.

• That said, if you receive an order that is missing, damaged in transit or has a genuine defect that makes it unusable, we’ll happily assist you.

Important details:

• Domestic orders are eligible for both returns/exchanges, but the customer bears the shipping cost of sending the item back to us.
  
• International Orders are eligible for returns provided the customer bears the shipping cost of sending the item back to us. After thorough inspection, a refund will be issued in the form of store credit only.
  
• International orders are not eligible for exchanges.
  
• Orders where modifications have been made and sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.
  
• The item(s) must be unused, with all tags and original packaging intact.
  
• As our bags are all one-of-a-kind, exact replacements will not be possible. In such cases, we’ll offer you store credit or help you choose a similar style.
  
• Refunds or Exchange (if approved) will be issued once we receive and inspect the returned item in the form of store credit. 
  
• The store credit is valid for 365 days.
  
• Each order is eligible for a return only once. Orders placed using a Store Credit are not eligible for any returns.
