Noumadi – Terms and Conditions

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, and any or all Agreements: Client, Customer, You, and Your refers to you, the person accessing our website and/or mobile application, and accepting the firm’s terms and conditions. The Firm, Ourselves, We, Our, the Store, and Us refers to Noumadi. Party, Parties, or Us, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves.

Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to the same.

By visiting our website or purchasing something from our Store, you agree to the terms set out in this agreement. Please do not continue to use our Store if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page. We reserve the right to change these terms at any time without prior notice.

1. Communication

When You visit Noumadi’s website or send emails/messages to us, You are communicating with us electronically. We communicate with you by Email, SMS, WhatsApp, or by posting notices on the website. You consent to receive communications from us electronically, and you agree that such communication satisfies any legal requirement that it be in writing.

2. General Conditions

  • You may not use our products to conduct any illegal or unauthorized activity that violates laws in your jurisdiction.

  • You may not reproduce, copy, or resell our product designs, images, video, text, or packaging.

  • We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us (e.g., due to limited inventory, logistics unavailability in your location, or payment verification issues).

  • You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our Store.

3. Products and Craftsmanship

  • Our bags are crafted from vintage, handmade Banjara textiles. These textiles are authentically sourced, but the bags themselves are shaped using sewing machines and finished with hand-embellishments.

  • Due to the handmade and vintage nature of textiles, small imperfections such as loose threads, minor spots, fading, or dust from desert storage may be present. These are not considered defects but rather part of the uniqueness and story of the product.

  • No two bags are identical. Once a design is sold out, it will not return, though similar styles may be suggested.

4. Pricing

  • All prices on our Store are listed in INR (₹).

  • We reserve the right to update or discontinue products at any time.

  • Discontinued products may no longer appear on the website.

5. Payments

  • Payments can be made via major credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, or other options provided at checkout.

  • We do not support Cash on Delivery (COD).

  • Discount codes, store credits, or promotional offers can be applied during checkout as per the terms mentioned at the time of issuance.

6. Shipping & Delivery

  • We ship both within India and internationally using trusted logistics partners (e.g., Shiprocket, Delhivery, etc.).

  • Domestic orders are usually dispatched within 1–3 business days.

  • International shipping charges and timelines vary by destination and will be displayed at checkout.

  • Tracking details will be shared by Email/SMS/WhatsApp once the order is shipped.

  • Customs duties, taxes, and clearance charges for international orders must be borne by the customer. Delays caused by customs are beyond our control.

7. Returns & Exchanges

Each Noumadi bag is handmade from vintage textiles, making every piece one-of-a-kind.

  •  Because of this, we do not accept returns or exchanges for reasons of change of mind, preference, colour differences from website images or minor imperfections (such as loose threads, missing mirrors, uneven embroidery or small marks picked up from the desert journeys of these textiles). These are not flaws but part of the fabric’s story. Every authentic Banjara bag carries these.

    • That said, if you receive an order that is missing, damaged in transit or has a genuine defect that makes it unusable, we’ll happily assist you.
    • Please reach out to us within 48 hours of delivery through email: namaste@noumadi.com or Whatsapp +91 9910807328 and we’ll guide you through the return or exchange process.

    Important details:

    • Domestic orders are eligible for both returns/exchanges, but the customer bears the shipping cost of sending the item back to us.
    • International Orders are eligible for returns provided the customer bears the shipping cost of sending the item back to us. After thorough inspection, a refund will be issued in the form of store credit only.
    • International orders are not eligible for exchanges.
    • Orders where modifications have been made and sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.
    • The item(s) must be unused, with all tags and original packaging intact.
    • As our bags are all one-of-a-kind, exact replacements will not be possible. In such cases, we’ll offer you store credit or help you choose a similar style.
    • Refunds or Exchange (if approved) will be issued once we receive and inspect the returned item in the form of store credit. 
    • The store credit is valid for 365 days.
    • Each order is eligible for a return only once. Orders placed using a Store Credit are not eligible for any returns.
    • In the event of damaged product, kindly share clear images and details on Whatsapp at +91 9910807328 within 48 hours of delivery. Our team will get back to you shortly.
    • The brand holds the authority to make the final decision in any case.

    At Noumadi, we ask for your understanding – supporting handmade means embracing its quirks and individuality. Each piece carries a little history, and once it’s with you, it’s meant to be part of your story.


8. Care Instructions

  • Store your bag in a cool, dry place.

  • When not in use, fill your bag with soft material (like tissue or fabric) to help it retain its shape.

  • Minor loose threads or embellishments can be secured with a needle and thread.

  • Avoid machine washing. Spot clean gently with a soft cloth.

9. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, Noumadi and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on our Store. All rights are reserved.

10. Indemnification

You agree to hold Noumadi, our subsidiaries, employees and suppliers harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of South Delhi, New Delhi.

12. Trademark Notice


“Noumadi™” including its name, logo, and associated brand elements are trademarks owned and used exclusively by Banjara Bazaar Fashion, a partnership firm registered in India.

All rights in these trademarks and related trade dress, whether registered or unregistered, are expressly reserved. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, imitation, or misuse of the name, logo, designs, or any other brand assets of Noumadi without prior written consent from Banjara Bazaar Fashion is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
